Tanko Ribah College of Education , Ribah was established in the year 2020 in Ribah town, Danko/Wasagu Local Government of Kebbi State, Nigeria. Became an affiliated College of Crown University Intl. Chartered Inc. as UNESCO Laureate Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu the Vice Chancellor has endorsed the college as affiliation school for the University.
About our school
Tanko Ribah College of Education , Ribah was established in the year 2020 in Ribah town, Danko/Wasagu Local Government of Kebbi State, Nigeria.
The school was founded by Dr Sir Samaila Mohammed with support of His Excellency UNESCO Laureate Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu with the aim of bringing higher education at the door of our people.
The School is properly registered with Federal Government of Nigeria with an Approval from Kebbi State Ministry for Higher Education and fully accredited by World Accreditation Commission USA, the official partner of the following bodies: United Nations Global Compact , The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), Board of Quality Standard in collaboration with international quality assurance agencies for higher education (INQAAHE) in Spain, International Education Quality Accreditation Body (IEQAB), Institute of Total Quality Service Measurement (ITQSM) , Europe International Education Accreditation Standards (EIEAS) and others recognized accreditors worldwide
The school is situated at it’s temporary site in Government Day Secondry School,Ribah study center.
The school also has a permanent at MUNAWWARA lay out ,along Zuru road Ribah,Kebbi State,Nigeria.

The purpose of multiple affiliation is bring educational oppoturenity to our prospective students, in the areas of Business, Science ,Technology and Educational programmes both in Diploma, NCE and Degrees.
The school has Administrative staffs and competent lecturers in various fields of study.

Vision
Tanko Ribah College of Education , Ribah aims at being a Model Teachers’ training Institution in Nigeria for the pursuit of academic excellence through teaching, learning and research for the professionalization of teaching to meet global standards.
Mission
The mission of Tanko Ribah College of Education , Ribah is to create a conducive atmosphere where teaching, learning, research and community activities can take place among staff, students and the public for the overall benefit of the teaching profession in Nigeria and abroad through a resourceful, transparent, firm and just leadership.
STRATEGIC GOALS/OBJECTIVES
The college has set a target of 10 strategic goals with clearly identified strategic objectives to be achieved in the next 10years. The strategic goals are:
- To organize the academic and professional training courses for well qualified Certificate in Education (NCE) graduates who will teach their subjects of specification in (a) Primary Schools (b) Secondary Schools
- To train for secondary Schools, technical and teachers’ College B.A./B.Sc. (Education) and B.Ed. degree graduates with the following background; (a)WAEC/NECO Senior Secondary School Certificate candidates, for the four-year degree programme; (b) G.C.E. Advanced Level Candidates for the three-year degree programme; (c) N.C.E. candidates for the three year programmes (provided they satisfy specified conditions)
- To organize in-service training for various categories of teachers in the Nigerian Institution of higher learning within the preceding objectives (i) and (ii) above.
- To organize vacation courses, conferences, workshops and seminars for teachers and school Principals in order to update their teaching and administrative competence.
- To conduct research and experiment on methods, theories and practices at all levels of Education
- To provide consultancy services in teaching in other areas of Education.
- To assist and advise the governments of Nigeria and the Federal Government in particular in its educational policies and programmes.
- To assist in the planning of curricula for various levels of educational institutions in the country.
- To encourage and promote the dissemination of professional information through publication, journals, lectures, talks, symposia and allied activities.
To render social and civil services to the community at large.
